Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LaneLogic (LaneLogic, we, us, or our) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the LaneLogic desktop software, website, licensing systems, support, downloads, updates, and related services.

LaneLogic is designed for transportation analysis workflows, including vehicle detection and turning movement count review. A core design goal is to keep raw traffic video and study processing local to the user's computer wherever possible.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • The LaneLogic desktop application;
  • LaneLogic installers, updates, model downloads, and documentation;
  • LaneLogic websites and download pages;
  • Licence activation, account, subscription, and payment workflows;
  • Support, diagnostics, beta testing, and user communications.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, payment processors, app stores, cloud providers, or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Local/offline video processing

LaneLogic's desktop application uses traffic video files selected by the user to perform vehicle detection, trajectory review, turning movement count analysis, and related study workflows.

By default, this processing happens locally on your computer. LaneLogic does not need to upload your raw traffic videos to the LaneLogic website, LaneLogic servers, or any cloud processing service in order to generate vehicle counts in the desktop application.

For normal desktop processing:

  • The video files you select are read and processed by the LaneLogic application on your computer;
  • Raw video files are not uploaded to LaneLogic by default;
  • Local study databases, movement definitions, calibration settings, exports, and reports remain on your device unless you choose to share them;
  • LaneLogic does not need to receive raw traffic footage to generate turning movement counts on your computer.

You may choose to send us files for support, debugging, model improvement, validation, or troubleshooting. Those files may include videos, images, screenshots, study files, exports, logs, system information, or diagnostics. If you send those materials to us, we will use them for the purpose for which they were provided and for related product improvement, support, security, and quality purposes.

You may request deletion of personal information, subject to legal, security, billing, backup, dispute-resolution, and legitimate business retention needs.
